UK-Papua New Guinea Trade & Investment Forum

On Tuesday 16th June, DMA will host the inaugural UK-Papua New Guinea Trade & Investment Forum – led by HE Prime Minister Peter O’Neill – in central London.
Natural gas exports from the country’s $19 billion LNG project – the largest private investment in the nation’s history – commenced earlier this year whilst the country also boasts significant deep-sea copper and gold reserves and an agricultural sector ripe for investment.
The Forum is Papua New Guinea’s most significant ever outreach to investors in the Northern Hemisphere. Hon Peter O’Neill, Prime Minister of Papua New Guinea, will give the keynote speech, outlining his government’s investment agenda to an audience of business leaders and senior figures from the international investment community.
With this in mind, DMA’s prestigious forum has been specifically designed to initiate vigorous, constructive dialogue between would-be investors and government, and is by invitation only.
