RetailEX ASEAN 2016 is an international one-stop platform that provides trade information and advisory services, business link-ups, business networking, trends in Thailand and ASEAN retailing product and services and assistance in finding the right trade partners.
The event features an exhibition and keynote plenary sessions, workshops and individual tracks. The programme is developed by and for the industry in order to address the region’s pressing pharmaceutical manufacturing issues.
Myanmar’s water infrastructure faces a critical juncture. Largely built on systems developed over centuries, the country’s water infrastructure is ageing, with outdated technologies coupled with poor governance systems. Pressures from urbanisation and climate change, such as increases in droughts, have posed as challenges to Myanmar’s water industry in handling the rise in demand.
Amid Myanmar’s development, more than 70% of country’s 54m population are not connected to the national power grid, meaning that the majority of the country is living in the dark. The current administration has ambitious plans to achieve universal electricity access by 2030, either a grid connection or permanent offgrid electricity.
