    In the past decade, Africa’s second-largest nation has been defined by greater stability and a drive for economic diversification. As the President Abdelaziz Bouteflika embarks on a third term, liberalisation remains a priority, as does assuming a greater regional diplomatic role and bolstering ties to the EU.
