Financial incentives and substantial investments in infrastructure appear to have generated considerable international interest from a range of industries.

The bevy of major new industrial projects scheduled to come on stream in the coming years will hasten the diversification of the state’s economy, creating more permanent jobs while also developing more value-added industries to hedge against fluctuating global demand for resource exports in the energy and agriculture sectors.
