OBG Consulting has been called on to advise on the investment and risk profiles of more than $200bn worth of projects in countries throughout the developing world. Complex analyses have covered yield predictions, net present value and internal rate of return probabilities, sales rates, capitalisation rates, operating costs, interest rates, market conditions, competition, labour, tax regimes and the legal environment. Studies of this nature have been conducted in Dubai, Doha, Jeddah, Riyadh, Cairo, Algiers, Tunis, Karachi, Islamabad, Lahore and Colombo, among other places.
Drawing on more than two decades of experience in producing detailed investment and economic guides, Oxford Business Group (OBG) is able to produce bespoke and confidential reports and services for a wide variety of clients.
These range from sector and market reports that identify the opportunities, the entrenched players, the tax and legal environment and pitfalls in specific areas. Each report is researched and written by specialist OBG analysts from the countries themselves.
Using OBG’s global network of offices in the Middle East, Africa, Asia and Latin America, OBG Consulting offers on-the-ground research, market intelligence and advice to corporate, NGO and governmental clients currently operating in emerging markets and those looking to enter them.
The department also provides professional expertise in writing, editing and producing reports in English from material supplied by the clients.
